The Non-Profit booths at the Santa Fe Indian Market provide various groups and organizations an opportunity to educate the general public on services offered to Native American communities. Brochures, pamphlets and other printed materials including freebies are distributed from non-profit booths.

Non-profit organizations who have participated in the past include:

  • The Santa Fe Children's Museum--offered hands-on pottery instruction to children and their families at Youth Indian Market while promoting their museum services
  • The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico--promoted their mission to encourage, support and promote long-term Native business growth.
  • The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, owned and operated by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico--promoted their year-round events and activities.
  • The Navajo United Way--promoted their goal of expanding upon the capacities of human care agencies to serve the needs of the Navajo Nation.
  • Wings of America--promoted their mission of enhancing quality of life among American Indian youth using running as a catalyst for empowerment.
  • The Indian Arts & Crafts Board of Washington, DC--educated attendees to their mission of implementing the Indian Arts and Crafts Act and providing professional business advice and information to Native artists.
  • The Statuary Hall Foundation--promoted their mission to educate the public about Pope', leader of the 1680 Pueblo Revolt, and to promote the preservation of Pueblo culture.

Non-profit groups and organizations who can prove 501(c)(3) status and who serve American Indian communities through programs and events are eligible to apply for Indian Market. When applying for a booth, applicants must submit samples of printed materials to be distributed. (Again, pamphlets, brochures and other educational material may be distributed including freebies.)
