I am not Native American or an artist. Can I join SWAIA?
Yes, we encourage everyone to join SWAIA.

Why should I become a member of SWAIA?
Thanks to your membership, SWAIA has the ability to expand horizons for Native artists and all who appreciate Native art.

Membership is a gift to you and others who love Native Arts.

With your membership, you help support public lectures, educational programs, unique events, SWAIA residencies for emerging artists, and business seminars for Native artists. Your participation as a member of SWAIA provides you opportunities for life-long learning, personal growth, and deeper appreciation and joy for Native Arts. You also help SWAIA in our mission to be an advocate for Native arts and culture for future generations. Thank you!

Do I need to be a member to attend Indian Market?
Santa Fe Indian Market is open to all who wish to attend—over 150,000 people from around the world come to Santa Fe for the premiere Native Arts event.

It costs more than $1 million to present Indian Market—which is a year-round endeavor!
Without membership support SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market would not, and cannot, happen.

How can I become a Member of SWAIA?
Call SWAIA’s offices at 505-983-5220 ext 232.

I wish to renew my SWAIA membership.
You may mail your check with the renewal notice you received in the mail. The address for SWAIA is:

I let my membership expire, but just recently renewed my membership. What will happen?
When your renewal dues are received and processed, your membership will be renewed for another 12 months. Your expiration date will reflect the month that your renewal was received.

When will my membership card arrive?
Allow between three to five weeks between when SWAIA receives your membership payment and when you may expect to receive your membership materials. Our acknowledgement letters and membership cards are printed every three to four weeks.

I received my SWAIA membership card, but misplaced it. How can I get a replacement?
To receive a replacement, please send us an email message to membership@swaia.org or call the SWAIA offices at 505-983-5220 ext 226.

I renewed my membership, yet I received another renewal notice. Why?
It probably crossed in the mail with your renewal gift. If you received your SWAIA member card, this verifies your renewal payment was received and process. Please disregard any further renewal notices that you may receive. If you wish to check your membership expiration date, please contact Membership Services at membership@swaia.org

How do I change my mailing address, email address, or other contact information?
Do keep your contact information current! We don’t want you to miss any wonderful SWAIA events or programs! You may call the SWAIA office at 505-983-5220, email us at cstokes@swaia.org, fax an update to Membership Services at FAX: 505-983-7647 or write to us at SWAIA, PO Box 969, Santa Fe NM 87504.
