SWAIA members are partners in supporting the historic Santa Fe Indian Market and American Indian artists. Members receive benefits such as a tax-deduction for their donation, an early copy of SWAIA¹s official Indian Market Magazine, admission to the Preview of Award Winning Artwork that takes place on the Friday before Indian Market (allowing members to preview more than 1,000 pieces of award-winning artwork before the Market officially opens), AND access to this section of the website!

SWAIA membership levels have been recently revamped! While one of the benefits of SWAIA membership has always been entrance into the Friday night Preview of the Award-Winning Art for Santa Fe Indian Market, numerous other benefits have now been added. Santa Fe Indian Market means big business. Hotels are filled to capacity; restaurants are booked full; car rental agencies rent every car on their lots; galleries have their busiest week of the year; and local grocery stores and department stores are filled with the artists and buyers who come to Santa Fe Indian Market. The 80,000 visitors who come to Indian Market make it the largest attended annual event in Santa Fe. The economic impact of Santa Fe Indian Market is estimated to be more than $100 million.
