In partnership with the National Museum of the American Indian, the 19th annual NCS kicks off an almost week-long film festival highlighting the contributions of Native films and filmmakers.

The event begins with the awards announcement presentation and is followed by a celebratory luncheon for the Best of Show and Best of Classification winners. 98TH ANNUAL SANTA FE INDIAN MARKET ON THE PLAZA!

The 97th Santa Fe Indian Market transforms the City of Santa Fe, with nearly 1,000 of the continent's finest Native American artists showing their work in booths filling the Santa Fe Plaza and surrounding streets. The Indian Market is the largest and most prestigious Native American fine art show in the world.

INDIAN MARKET GALA
NEW LOCATION! Santa Fe Community Convention Center

One of the most glamorous and popular events of the Santa Fe Indian Market is the Live Auction Gala and Reception. This fundraiser for the Southwestern Association of Indian Arts (SWAIA), the organization that produces the Indian Market, begins with a silent auction and cocktail reception and culminates with the exciting Live Auction dinner.
DON'T MISS OUT! This year, the event will be an encompassing experience, the theme of which is “RISE & REMEMBER: Honoring the Resilience of Native Women.” Congresswoman Deb Haaland (NM 1st Congressional District) will be the guest of honor. Included in the auction will be hand drums hand-decorated by Haaland and other notable Native female artists, such as Dolores Purdy, Glendora Fragua, Kathleen Wall and many others. Proceeds from the sales of these drums will be shared with The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women in Albuquerque

In partnership with the National Museum of the American Indian.
Families are encouraged to bring chairs/blankets and arrive in time to secure a spot on the lawn. Food available for purchase from a variety of local food trucks. The movie will begin at sunset.

Among the many cherished traditions at the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Native American Clothing Contest is one of the most beloved and anticipated events. The contest includes categories for traditional and contemporary Native fashions; featuring children and adult participants with award prizes in a variety of categories.
