Although best known for producing the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts has several other programs that support and promote Native American artists and their art throughout the year. From honoring elders with Lifetime Achievement awards to providing funds to emerging artists, SWAIA is committed to encouraging cultural preservation, inter-cultural understanding, and economic opportunities for American Indians through excellence in the arts.
