SWAIA Virtual Fashion Show 2020

Mountain Daylight Time Map

"Beauty before me, beauty behind me, beauty below me, beauty above me, beauty all around me; I walk in beauty. Garments made by hand, woven of wool or sewn of cotton or silk using traditional techniques in dyeing, weaving, and ornamented with an assortment of accessories, to adorn the body, have always been a part of Navajo culture. And a commitment to continuing those traditions and sharing them with women is evident in the extravagant fashion created at ORLANDO DUGI."

  1. Wondering, can I only watch it live , or could I watch it later on. Like after work?
I recently moved back to Canada from Santa Fe, and it’s an hours time difference here.

Hope I can watch the show. Orlando is a phenomenal designer and artist !

  2. Well done y’all!
The “rona” has shut so many events down. It was very exciting to see the 2020 SWAIA virtual fashion show move things forward! Amber-Dawn did a great job producing and the fashion was on point. It was nice to see bio’s on each designer and the various ways they chose to present their work. This was the first time I watched this event with my 92 year old Grandmother in Gadiiahi, NM, the four corners of the Navajo Nation. Although this was an unprecedented event that was fabulous, I pray this fashion show returns to Santa Fe LIVE on the run way!

    xo Joyous
