My painted rawhide is a traditional Ute craft by which I have taken it a step further in using earth pigments and smoked deer hide for laces and fringe. I want my rawhide to look and feel as if it was created a century ago. I am also a metalsmith using Sterling silver, copper, gold and semi-precious stones. This is a new outlet for me so my work in metal is evolving.
