Malachi's ancestry is Kiowa, Navajo, Taos Pueblo, Delaware, and Irish. His Kiowa name is "Koytalee" which translates to Kiowa Boy. His Navajo name is "Dinetsoii'" which means "Yellowman," a name inherited from his father.
Malachi's career in acting and modeling began at the age of 3 when he took the stage at the Southwestern Association of Indian Arts (SWAIA) Clothing Contest and won the blue ribbon.
Since that day, Malachi has been pursuing his passion for the arts as well as advocating for Native American culture. Unlike his father and brother who are well-known painters, he is known for his leather work, clothing, jewelry, and knife making.
As a SAG actor, he has appeared in movies like "The Lone Ranger, 2013" and "Cowboys and Aliens, 2011" and TV Shows and mini-series like "Longmire, 2012- " and "Into The West, 2005" respectively. He has also modeled in numerous magazines and calendars over the years.
