Greetings. My name is Mark Ron Taho and I am Hopi and Diné from the village of Mungapi on the western edge of the Hopi reservation. I've been carving Katsina dolls in the old style and contemporary style for over 35 years. Following in my grandfather and uncles footsteps. I use all natural mineral paints with my old style dolls that I gather and collect myself or trade. My contemporary work is still evolving as I try to capture natural movement, flow and motion in my latest work.
