I left big city life and moved to rural Oklahoma where I was born. My family is Cherokee - some came over the Trail of Tears and others gathered a huge family and livestock and came by boat and settled on the Texas road. My neighbors are deer, red fox, eagles, coyotes. I love to paint people whose demeanor tells a story. I also paint the world and inject some fun and humor. The world God created is the greatest art - we can never paint a prettier scene. He placed objects of beauty in very mundane places. Love to all.
