Valerie F Calabaza is from the Diné Navajo Tribe. She has been doing handmade jewelry for about 15 years. Her primary teachers were her husband, Joe R Calabaza and late father- and mother-in-law, Joe F and Mary Ann Calabaza. She has developed her abilities to produce unique, one of a kind pieces. Along with her husband, she has taken on the role of becoming a full time artist.
