Virginia Yazzie Ballenger (b. 1957) is a Navajo fashion designer based out of Gallup, New Mexico. Her contemporary clothing is inspired by Navajo traditions. She has exhibited at Santa Fe Indian Market since 1984, and is grateful for the continued opportunity to share her work. Last year, her dress "The Slender One" won "Best of Show: Contemporary Clothing" in the annual clothing contest on the Santa Fe Plaza.
