As a bead work artist Yonavea Hawkins learned by sewing and beading cultural items for herself and family. When asked to participate in her first art market she entered a pair of Delaware moccasins in the Bead work category at Red Earth. She has since continued to win awards in other Native American art market competitions with her moccasins, beaded cultural items and loomed beaded belts in the Bead work or Cultural categories.
Bag is 17" long not including the 12" fringe and 6-1/2" wide. Pipe is 15" long with 6" of gourd stitch.
