MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
The jewelry designs are all sketched out and outlined. silver sheets and wires are then cut to size and soldered to form a channel for inlay. Stones and shells are also cut to dimensions and glued together and set for inlay. sun faces and figures are outline and grinded to fit into channels. colors are sorted out for presentations of directions, 4 life lines and so on. all stones and shells are set to dry and grinded to set for drills to put silvers dots in. the final phase of production is polishing with various polishing compounds., Turquoise, coral, lapis. red and purple spiny oyster shells, green jade, yellow jade, sugilite, pink coral, white shell, jet and denim lapis are all used in my inlaid.
