MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Natural earth clay is dug out and mixed with lava cinder, grinded and sifted made into clay . Base is pinched out and size is determined, Hand coiled, pressed out, burnished with river bed pebbles, and polished with red iron oxide and burnished into the pot, allowed to dry a couple weeks, then open pit fired overnight with cedar wood, fire cloud happens during fire, while still hot, strained pinion sap is applied and cleaned..
