MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I use traditional Pueblo pottery materials and techniques: indigenous clay, indigenous slips, coil and scraping to form the pot, and pit firing. The pottery forms I create are based on historic Ohkay Owingeh classic vessels. The images and design motifs are pop-like commentary to express my voice as a Pueblo woman.
