MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My art is created by first welding together a metal form, which I cut, bend and weld into place. I then pour concrete into the form. This year I began powder coating the piece. I have a base from which I can add the color. The color is all tile used for durability. Each piece is hand cut and hand placed. I then add the regalia, jewelry, feathers and such, also made of metal and or tile and sometimes semi-precious stones such as turquoise. After a final inspection and touchups, the piece is ready for showing.
