MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I am a self taught artist. I have been painting professionally since 1994. I use acrylic on canvas and rag paper. All my work is done free hand. There are not any computer enhancements, projection or mechanical reproduction on my original paintings. All pieces begin with a sketch done by hand. The painting is done by brush, dry brush method, some back ground work I do use an airbrush to get a smooth and blemish free appearance. I start dark and layer lighter colors, finishing with the highlights.
