MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE: I am a Pueblo jeweler known for my traditional stone and shell jewelry that reflects ancient techniques and styles, yet is fashionable in today’s contemporary world. My Lapidary skills were taught to me by my parents as a child. At that time, all the pieces were made with traditional tools. Each bead was pump drilled, hand shaped on sandstone and polished with beeswax, tallow and deer hide. I attended the Institute of American Indian Arts where he studied under the renowned artist Charles Loloma (Hopi).
