MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE: Raymond is a contemporary Hopi artist from Third Mesa, Hotevilla, Arizona. His art is based on Hopi beliefs and mythology and things that he may see in nature or in human nature. He also creates each unique piece with prayers and thoughts for a good life. Buckles, bolos, rings, bracelets, and pendants are made from a mix of stones, shell, sinew, fossilized ivory, and petrified wood that is inlayed and constructed on to freeform or tufa casted silver.
