MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My work is primarily based around my collection of family photos, that I turn into artworks that combine my family images with other materials such as maps, tribal enrollment lists, and Mvskoke language passages. The subject matters are layered onto panels and paper in a variety of ways. The techniques I use are various: encaustic wax, oil paint, watercolor, printmaking processes and drawing materials.
