These sterling silver pieces are created using a combination of tufa casting and cuttlebone casting with the focus being on the presentation of the cuttlebone texture. The allure of cuttlebone casting is that after each cast the pattern is "burned off," leaving a unique print. Also, the size (width and length) of the piece is limited by the size of the cuttlebone.
