MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My work is created from Wampum beads, carvings & findings. I produce my beads & findings from the Northern Quahog clam shell by use of traditional & modern bead making technologies. On a variety of looms, I weave my Wampum into belts, bracelets, collars & crowns. I incorporate sinew, hide, gemstone, precious metal & bone into both my contemporary & traditional creations. I also design earrings & necklaces with my Wampum, as well as 3-dimensional relief carvings by using lapidary & rotary tools.
