MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
For these pieces the use different forms of leather (bison, elk, deer, vegetable tanned) are used, incorporated into some of the projects are carved white tail deer antlers. All pieces are hand carved, tooled, dyed and sewn. This is done using different knives and various tools made of metal and bone. Dyeing is done with various brushes, and is oil, water, acrylic or traditional materials (berries, bark) to achieve color. Sewing is done with sewing needles and lacing needles when a piece has braiding.
