MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I am a Hopi Carver that uses traditional methods to carve tihus (dolls) that are special to the Hopi people. Only the root of cottonwood is used, and a file to carve out the image (no knives). Only natural pigments are used to acquire the colors for paint.
