MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Materials - natural earth clay, gourd shards, sand stones, riverbed rocks, yucca stem brushes, black bee weed plant, Santo Domingo Red Clay, Yellow iron rock, sheep dung fuel. Techniques - hand built with coils, shaped with gourd shards, sanded with sandstone, burnished with riverbed rocks, designs painted with yucca stem fiber, fired outdoors with dried sheep dung.
