MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
All traditional dolls are carved out of cottonwood root. Tools used to detail out the kachina dolls are assorted hand knives, and various types of chisels, and paint brushes. Paints used are alkyd, water and oil based. Wood stains are also applied to the carving.
