MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Various painting procedures in acrylic paint are applied to a canvas base. Streaking, washing, wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, gradient, and dry brush application are some of the techniques being used. Sometimes mixed media is applied to the base to help elevate the paint. This is achieved by replacing canvas with a Masonite board, glass, acrylic, paper, or metal sheet for the paintings’ base. The use of pen, ink, marker and pencil are also used to enhance the subject of the piece.
