MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
The work created is based on one of a kind designs from beadwork and silver work. The beads uses are beaded by hand on various leathers to created imagery to unique floral designs. Silver used is sterling and hand fabricated to demonstrate hand stamping and repoussé style of silver work. The two mediums are also combined to form unique pieces for fashion wear and everyday style of jewelry wearing. Each piece is made from unique designs and combinations of colors to create each design one by one. The final touch involves the oxidation of the silver to give an old style of finish. Each element used is specific to the qualifications outlined by SWAIA in the standards identified for the classifications created under diverse arts and jewelry categories. Natural stones are also adapted into creating unique jewelry designs.
