MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Northern Plains Traditional Arts materials used; brain tan deer hides, smoked moose hides, elk hides, buffalo raw hide, deer rawhide, porcupine quills, antique and vintage seed beads ranging in sizes 24-11, silk ribbons, brass findings, other traditionally used materials pertaining to tribal style. Techniques used; all designing and styles unique to each piece, traditional porcupine quillwork in northern plains style, plaiting, wrapped, woven. Various techniques of beadwork; lazy stitch, flat stitch, wrapped stitch, and many different edge stitching. All original designing, styling and work completed by artist.
