MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Materials: Locally clay mixture of boiled down plants either tansy mustard or yucca fruit black hematite stone for paint. Technique: Prepare raw clay by soaking and straining drying till consistency is right for molding. Coil method is used to built pottery using gourds to shape drying and sanding using sandstone and sandpaper moistened and burnished with smooth river stones. Paint with yucca brushes outdoor fired using sheep dung.
