MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Expressionist landscape painting using a muscular impasto palette knife technique. Oil paint is applied directly to the canvas in a a la prima fashion. An emphasis is placed on impressionist light in the picture plane. Pre-exisiting indigenous Tewa names are used for these Northern New Mexico Puebloan spaces.
