MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My photography is of beautiful, naturistic scenes from all over the US. To capture these moments I use a Sony A7 IV camera. Then these photos undergo a process of editing to give them vibrancy and their life like feel. Then I have them printed out on an aluminum sheet backed with a wooden frame, this gives it durability, stability, and the ability to hang them. The aluminum sheet gives it a smooth glossy finish without the bulk of a classic frame, the glare of glass, or the texture of a canvas print. For my ledger work I use antique ledger paper. I then make free hand designs usually of ledger style animals, I use a fine lined black marker to line these designs out to give them sharp edges. To fill in these designs I use Prisma colored pencils to give them eye catching color.
