Peterson Yazzie

MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I create paintings in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. The painting are created on paper or canvas. Transparent and opaque layers are applied with brushes and paint knives. My jewelry pieces are created with sterling silver, copper, wood and paint. The techniques used is sawing, stamping, sanding, painting, riveting and polishing. I create sculptures using wood, paint and natural exotic legal feathers. I saw and carved the wood using hand saw knives, and rasps. I paint with water based paints, and adorn with feathers.
