MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I create ledger art using old ledgers (some dated from the 19th and 20th centuries). I use different mediums to create my art. I like to use realistic and abstract methods. My subjects come from a variety of plants, animals and Native Americans and their past daily lives and cultural activities. I enjoy creating art that I appreciate and hope others will enjoy as well. I utilize different types of animal skulls as the base of my artwork. I appreciate as most Native Americans the animals and their usefulness in the past and present. I really appreciate the importance of the buffalo and the great contribution to the native communities in the past and present. Therefore, I take these skulls and beautify them by painting pictures on them. I hope others will appreciate the artwork I create on them.
