MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I use only the finest shed antlers to create each carving. I start by dry carving with a bench grinder, then I wet sand till I get a smooth finish . Then comes the details I add with a dremel. After the details I do the burnishing part to achieve the dark colors. Then comes the buffing, assisted by a bench grinder. Then the final step is adding the bundles on each carving. I’m a fourth generation carver , taught to me by my grandma Edna Leki.
