MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I am a Navajo Weaver. I create weavings using a traditional, vertical loom. My weavings are created using either two or more sheds to create design pattern. The materials I use are a combination of hand spun and commercial spun wool. The dyes in the material are a combination of natural plant dyes and aniline dyes combined. In addition, I also use natural color wool blend of brown, black, grey and white.
