CLASSIFICATION:

MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Using inspiration from my heritage-Santa Clara Pueblo and White Mountain Apache, I sculpt in stone and take selected finished sculptures to the foundry to have them molded and cast in bronze. I favor marble from Italy, Portugal, and Belgium, as well as Onyx, honeycomb calcite, limestone, and alabaster. I utilize power tools-angle grinders with diamond blades as well as die grinders with diamond or silicon carbide bits, files, hammers, and chisels and finish each stone piece with rough to fine grit sandpaper.
