MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My jewelry art work is constructed mostly with sterling silver and gold. I fabricate different thicknesses of sheet metal. I cut out designs in the overlay fashion or stamp designs. I adorn the metal work with different stones but mostly focus on turquoise and coral. I either inlay the stones in different styles or set large single cabachons. I work to ensure there is a flow of design through out the pieces I create and to make each piece utilitarian, meaning I refrain from having jagged edges and potential weak areas in the work.
