MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
I hand draw every piece that I make. This includes beaded, laser cut, or carved. Then we vector it in studio. All of production is done in house. I like to mix materials and mediums for example I will add natural materials like cedar-bark rope to an acrylic earring design. I will add abalone inlay (traditional coastal style) to a wooden or acrylic earring. We try to source everything as local as possible including the materials we use and order. I like to source material from as many Indigenous vendors as possible. I like to mix cedar weaving, shells with applique beadwork and acrylic. I am most inspired by natural materials and do my best to include them in all my pieces.
