MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE: To whom it may concern, My name is Wylie Secatero, I am of the Navajo Tribe. I specialize in the making of jewelry using old traditional techniques that were taught to me from my grandmother and my parents. The materials I work with include sterling silver, copper, 14 karat gold, and natural turquoise stones. I use handmade stamps to tool my designs into each piece and add a stone with bezel and twist wire. I make bracelets, pendants, earrings, buckles, bolo ties. Some of my creations have stones and some do not, but they all contain stamp work.
