MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My artwork is a combination of traditional Navajo-inspired motifs, images, and symbolism with contemporary landscape scenes. It is created using oil on canvas in an abstract style that uses bold colors to bring out the beauty in both the cultures and imagery being represented. My paintings portray an array of symbols and patterns associated with Navajo culture and landscape. Through my artwork, I seek to evoke emotion and reflection from the viewers, creating an atmosphere that encapsulates both cultures in harmony.
