MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE: Jemez Pueblo pottery made from Jemez clay that was dug and processed by myself. My pottery is contemporary using traditional techniques. Each of my pieces are hand coiled. Each piece is sanded to refine each piece. My pieces are either stone polished with red and grey slip or painted with micaceous slip. All my pieces are fired outdoors with cedar wood in a metal box made out of old roofing tin.
