MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE: My approach to revitalizing old 1800's to 1900's polychrome pottery is meticulously aimed at seminal works that my ancestors have been establishing since in time memorial. Having grown up in close proximity to my origins of migrations, it grew tremendously. I have always been fascinated by old images of the ancestral sites of how the Zuni world is represented through the eyes of others. My materials are collected around the pueblo that consists of Nutria Clay, Yellow Ochre Pigments, and of course the Rocky Mountain Beeweed plant that is the main used color to represent the Polychrome colors.
