MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
The clay is mined from Acoma Pueblo. To procss the shale clay, you hav to soak and grind the clay mixed with old pottery shards. The pottery is hard formed using wooden tools to create seed pots, gourds to form plates and pinching method to create figures. The paint is created by grinding on a rock using rain water. the paint is mixed with the boiled wild spinach plant.
