MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
Metals: 18K gold, sterling silver, and fine silver. Stones: All natural Australian variscite, Sardinian coral, and Nevada Blue turquoise. Techniques: Fabrication from sheet goods for sterling silver. For gold I alloy from 24K gold casting grain with fine silver and fine copper to make 18K gold sheet for fabrication. Soldering in both silver and gold. Sawing, filing, sanding, buffing, and polishing using various abrasives and machines. Forming with a hydraulic press and fine forming with hammer and mandrel. Saw in castellations by hand. Hand stamped with hammer and stamps. Texturing with hammer and texturing stamps.
