MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
My overall technique is fabrication overlay. I work with silver & copper metals mainly. My designs are all hand-drawn. I try not to use the same designs over & over. Each piece I create to be different in design. That allows myself not to become bored. Overlay requires many hours of cutting the metals with a jeweler coping saw. I believe in detailed designs representing elements of the Earth & Universe. Once I have completed the cutting of the designs, I will solder the design onto another solid piece of metal thus creating the overlay technique. Each overlay piece is completed with fine line border stamping. Fabrication of all my pieces also requires many hours to complete my artwork.
