CINDY FOWLER

I am a 4 Corners native. I am half Dine’ (Navajo) and half Anglo. I began carving stone in the early 1980’s. Over the years, I have been carving off and on and I’ve also been making beaded jewelry.
During the Pandemic, I began carving for healing after the passing of my husband, James King, in 2019. I prefer carving Alabaster for its softness and variety of color. A mother and child, a proud warrior, simple images find their way into my work. I’d like to continue carving to see where it will take me. Ahee hee’.. Thank You
