TRIBAL AFFILIATION:
St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin

CLASSIFICATION:

BOOTH NUMBER:
LIN E 749

MATERIAL/TECHNIQUE:
All my inlayed sterling silver jewelry was handcrafted using all sterling silver sheets/wire which were cut and sawed to various lengths and shapes. The stamping texture is applied using an assortment of stamps. The silver pieces were soldered together using assorted gauges of sheet solder, and heated using an acetylene torch. Rough gemstones are cut and shaped using a lapidary wheel and inlayed into place. A 2-part epoxy resin glue is applied to the stones and they are set in place after drying/curing. The lapidary wheel is the then used to grind down the stones and further polish the finish of the gemstones and silver.
